Questions and answers

When can I order?
Orders are not open yet. Join the waitlist and we will email you when they are.
What is in a plan?
Every plan has all four of the week's dishes, plus rice. Classic is 4 medium boxes with 1 box of rice; Hearty is 4 large boxes with 2 boxes of rice; Feast is 4 large and 4 medium boxes with 3 boxes of rice.
How big is a serving, and how big are the boxes?
A serving is 12 oz. A medium box holds 24 oz, 2 servings. A large box holds 32 oz, about 2.7 servings. Calories and protein on the menu are per serving.
What does it cost?
Classic is $56 a week, Hearty is $72 a week, Feast is $120 a week. Delivery is a flat $5.
When do I order, and when am I charged?
Order by Thursday at 11:59 PM for that Sunday's delivery. Your card is charged once the cutoff passes, for that week only.
Can I skip a week or cancel?
Yes. You can skip a week, pause or cancel yourself, any time before Thursday at 11:59 PM, with no fee. After the cutoff that week's order is final, because the food has been bought.
What if Annie cannot cook one week?
If we cannot cook for a Sunday, we will email you before Thursday at 11:59 PM and you will not be charged for that week. If something stops us after you have been charged, we will refund that week in full.
Where and when do you deliver?
Anywhere in Toronto, on Sunday, 3 to 8 PM.
Can I choose my dishes?
Not yet. Every plan gets the week's four dishes, which change from week to week. The menu shows this Sunday's and next Sunday's.
How long does the food keep?
Keep it in the fridge and eat it within 4 days. To keep a box longer, freeze it on the day it arrives and use it within 2 months. Lentil and chickpea dishes freeze best; paneer and tofu can change texture. Thaw it in the fridge overnight and reheat until steaming hot.
Where is the food cooked?
When orders open, the food will be cooked in a commercial kitchen in Toronto that is inspected by Toronto Public Health.
What about allergies?
Every dish is vegetarian, and vegan dishes are marked. Full ingredient and allergen lists are being confirmed and will appear on each dish. If you have a serious allergy, email us before you order, because the kitchen also handles common allergens.
Can I try one dish before I subscribe?
Yes. Order a single dish from Annie's Cookin storefront.
